After just one season as the head coach of the Texans, Ryans was deemed a finalist due to his coaching prowess. He guided Houston to the AFC South championship and a surprising first-round playoff triumph over Stefanski’s Browns.
But Ryans is a good choice for the Texans. He assembled a strong coaching staff that took the team from last to first in the division, and he assisted in guiding NFL Rookie of the Year winners C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr.
