According to Feinsand, a return to Texas makes logical sense for Montgomery, who played a key role in guiding the Rangers to their first-ever World Series title last fall. Notably, a local barbecue establishment near Globe Life Field has even joined the effort to entice Montgomery back to Texas, offering the left-handed pitcher a lifetime supply of BBQ if he chooses to re-sign with the Rangers.
