Horse Tracks: Kareem Jackson is puzzled as the league seems to be singling him out …
Kareem Jackson met with Rodger Goodell and came away confused as he was asked to protect the offensive players
Kareem Jackson is either going to be a big part of this defense as they continue marching toward the 2023 postseason or he will be a distraction.
I honestly don’t understand why he’s missed as much football as he has especially given the NFL’s waffling nature about it other than that a player by the name of Kareem Jackson made a bit hit so that’s a problem.
From reading about his frustrations with his most recent meeting with Rodger Goodell I’m left feeling a bit irritated on his behalf.
Because he’s 100% correct: There have been far worse hits than his that got him suspended at two different points in this season going on throughout the NFL. But he’s the only guy getting called out.
So what’s the point?
The only thing I can see is that you want to make Kareem Jackson retire. Because if you aren’t calling the big hits out and suspending players league-wide for it, then no one is getting any message that the NFL league offices are trying to send.
Other than maybe the message of, “Man, it must suck to be Kareem Jackson.”
KJack is left wondering exactly what he’s supposed to do. The only thing I can advise is to get your helmet up. That’s the only problem I can see consistently in both of his hits that got him suspended. If you aren’t leading with the crown, maybe they won’t suspend you.
I’m looking forward to seeing Jackson play again soon and I’ll cheer for any and all plays he makes as he’s been a superb football player for a long damn time in this league and deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he seems to be getting from the league this year.
