City increased the pressure, with Erling Haaland missing a clear opportunity, and Jeremy Doku hitting the woodwork. Phil Foden then scored after an intricate passing sequence, making it 2-1. In the first half, City had 12 attempts on goal compared to Tottenham’s two, and they enjoyed 64% possession. Keane, a pundit for Sky Sports, criticized Spurs’ defending at halftime, emphasizing City’s brilliance in attack and vulnerability at the back.
