During a recent unreserved conversation with Chase B on Boardroom, Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud unequivocally favored Los Angeles girls over their Houston counterparts. Originally from California, Stroud promptly dismissed any competition, emphasizing the glaring difference between the two groups.
When prompted with the question of his preference between LA and Houston girls, Stroud decisively replied, “It’s not even close, bro.” He lauded the work ethic of California women, acknowledging the diverse experiences one could encounter in regions such as the Valley, LA, San Diego, and Oakland.
Despite expressing a lighthearted apology to the women of Houston for his clear preference rooted in California pride, Stroud refrained from delving into specific details. His main argument centered around the authenticity of the “Boujee” factor, asserting that LA girls embody this trait genuinely, while he labeled Houston girls as “fake Boujee.”
The term “Boujee” is a colloquial slang, derived from “bourgeois,” denoting middle-class status. In contemporary usage, it describes something perceived as luxurious, pretentious, or high-maintenance, commonly used in informal conversations and pop culture to comment on perceived extravagance or a specific aesthetic.
C.J. Stroud recently made history as the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, achieving the highest draft position for a quarterback from Ohio State. His NFL career began impressively, setting a league record in his initial three starts with over 900 passing yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
With notable achievements in college football, including finishing 4th and 3rd in Heisman voting in 2021 and 2022, respectively, Stroud’s NFL career comprises 11 games, 249 completions, and an impressive 8.4 average yards per throw.
