“You can’t win” :Ronnie O’Sullivan drops an F-word response to snooker critics as he displays a bittered …

Having played professional snooker for 31 years, Ronnie O’Sullivan has heard it all – at 47 years old, the world number one is focused on his happiness rather than his critics.

Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan reckons his critics talk a load of balls and after three decades of people doubting him, the player known as The Rocket is sick and tired of it.

So at 47, he has finally stopped caring about what people say. He said: “You can’t win. There’s no end to it. It’s all, ‘He’s the most amazing player of all time’. And then it’s, ‘Oh, his days are numbered’.

“I’m like, ‘Oh God, I’ve had that for 30 years’. They’re always going to find a problem. And I go, ‘Do you know what? F*** you. I don’t give a f***’. That’s how I’ve got with it. You’re damned if you do, you’re damned if you don’t. But I don’t give a f*** no more.”

Ronnie has battled mental health issues as well as drink and drug problems over the years – but these days he feels in control and back to his best. He added: “I’ve taken control of my life and that is it. And the most important thing is I’m happy.

“I play snooker to an extremely high level enough of the time and I win enough. And I don’t give a f*** what any of you say. “I don’t care. I’m doing it my way. You should try doing it my way because it f***ing works. I’ve got faith in my ability. I don’t actually care what anyone thinks.”

Is Ronnie O’Sullivan the greatest snooker player of all-time?
