Florida State continues its recruiting momentum, landing a major piece for its offensive line with the commitment of 4-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson. The highly coveted prospect chose the Seminoles over powerhouse programs Texas and Georgia, solidifying FSU’s standing as a force on the recruiting trail.
Anderson, a dominant force in the trenches, had been one of the most sought-after linemen in the 2025 recruiting class. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, he possesses the size, strength, and technique to be an immediate impact player at the next level.
For months, Anderson’s recruitment was a tight battle between Florida State, Texas, and Georgia. Many believed the Bulldogs held an early edge due to their recent dominance in producing NFL-caliber offensive linemen. Meanwhile, Texas made a strong push, selling him on the opportunity to be a key piece in its high-powered offense.
However, in the end, Florida State’s coaching staff, led by head coach Mike Norvell and offensive line coach Alex Atkins, made the difference. Anderson was drawn to the program’s vision, player development, and the chance to be part of a dominant offensive unit.
“Florida State just felt like home,” Anderson said in his commitment announcement. “The coaches, the culture, and the way they develop their players made this an easy decision. I’m locked in.”
Adding Anderson to the class is a major boost for the Seminoles, who continue to stack talent in the trenches. His combination of power, footwork, and football IQ makes him an ideal fit for FSU’s offensive scheme.
With the Seminoles looking to reestablish themselves as a national contender, landing a top-tier lineman like Anderson is a statement. His commitment not only strengthens their 2025 recruiting class but also sends a message that Florida State can compete with SEC heavyweights for elite talent.
