Breaking: 2025 Three-star Defensive Lineman Officially Commits to FSU Football Ove Auburn, Miami and Miss…

Florida State football has landed a major commitment from 2025 three-star defensive lineman Christian Ingram, securing his talents over strong competition from Auburn, Miami, and Mississippi. Ingram, a highly touted prospect out of Newton High School in Covington, Georgia, stands at 6’5″ and 280 pounds, bringing size and athleticism to the Seminoles’ defensive front.

FSU’s recruiting for the 2025 cycle has faced some challenges, especially as the team has struggled with a disappointing 1-5 record in 2024. However, head coach Mike Norvell and his staff have been working hard to maintain momentum on the recruiting trail. Despite recent de-commitments from key players like four-star wide receivers Malik Clark and Daylan McCutcheon, as well as defensive standouts Myron Charles and Javion Hilson, Ingram’s pledge is a welcome boost for the Seminoles.

Ingram, who had offers from top programs like Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Clemson, was recruited by FSU’s veteran defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins. With his commitment, FSU now adds a much-needed addition to its defensive line class, which already includes four-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn.

While the Seminoles have faced setbacks, Ingram’s commitment signals that Florida State is still an attractive destination for top defensive talent. His size, strength, and potential make him a key asset in FSU’s efforts to rebuild its defensive unit for the future.
