Florida State head coach Mike Norvell expressed concern over the team’s recent struggles as the Seminoles navigate a challenging season. Despite entering the year with high expectations, Florida State has experienced inconsistencies on both sides of the ball, leading to an underwhelming performance that has left fans and analysts worried.
During a press conference, Norvell addressed some of the key issues, including injuries, lack of execution, and struggles in crucial moments. “We haven’t played to the standard we expect, and that’s on me as the head coach,” Norvell said. “The margin for error in this league is small, and we’ve got to be better in every aspect — from preparation to execution on game day.”
One of the most pressing concerns for the Seminoles has been the offensive line, which has struggled to protect quarterback Jordan Travis. Norvell acknowledged that injuries to key linemen have complicated the situation, but emphasized the need for improvement. “We’ve got to keep our quarterback upright, and right now we’re not doing that consistently enough,” he added.

That’s something we have to clean up immediately,” he said.
