Good News: Boston Bruins Officially Confirmed the Addition of the 29-year-old Experienced Veteran Superstar to Bolster Jim Montgomery  Squad…

The Boston Bruins have officially announced the addition of experienced veteran superstar Elias Lindholm to their roster, providing a significant boost to Jim Montgomery’s squad ahead of the new season.

Lindholm, who signed a 7-year, $7.75 million contract in the offseason, returned to practice after missing nine days of training camp due to an undisclosed injury. Slotted into his projected spot on the top line between David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha, Lindholm is now focused on getting back to full fitness before opening night.

“It’s been tough not being able to join the guys and get used to the system,” Lindholm said. “But it’s good to be back, and I’m looking forward to getting a few good practices and games in before Game 1.”

Adding to the whirlwind of his return, Lindholm’s wife, Annica, gave birth to their second child, Luka, last week. While the early arrival was unexpected, Lindholm expressed happiness, saying, “Everyone’s good, and we’re very happy.”

Lindholm will have a busy few days ahead, as the Bruins play three exhibition games before their season opener on October 8 against the Florida Panthers. Despite needing to regain his conditioning, Lindholm is eager to settle into Boston’s system and contribute to the team’s success.

Coach Jim Montgomery praised Lindholm’s hockey intelligence but acknowledged the need for him to get up to speed. “It was great to see him back,” Montgomery said. “You can see his hockey sense, but he’s not quite there yet, so these reps in practice are important.”

With Lindholm now in the mix, the Bruins look poised for a strong start to the season.
