Official Steelers Updates: Steelers Officially Confirm the Addition of Two Experienced NHL Top Stars to Mike Tomlin’s Roster Following Injury-plagued…

The Pittsburgh Steelers have made key roster moves ahead of their Week 4 road game against the Indianapolis Colts, looking to reinforce depth following an injury-filled week. According to the team’s official announcement, the Steelers have elevated defensive back Thomas Graham Jr. and running back Aaron Shampklin from the practice squad to the active/inactive roster for Sunday’s matchup.

Both players are set to provide crucial support for positions hit by injuries and will revert to the practice squad after the game.

Filling in Key Roles After Injuries

With running back Jaylen Warren sidelined, Aaron Shampklin will step in as the third running back, joining Najee Harris and Cordarrelle Patterson. Shampklin’s elevation gives the Steelers more options in their backfield, especially with the need to maintain balance in the offense against a tough Colts front.

In the secondary, Thomas Graham Jr. will help fill the void left by Cory Trice Jr., who is on injured reserve. Graham, who primarily played in the slot during the preseason, is expected to split reps with rookie Beanie Bishop Jr. in nickel packages and could also see playing time in dime situations.

A Critical Matchup for Pittsburgh

The Steelers, who have dealt with a string of injuries throughout the season, are hoping these elevations will help stabilize their roster for a pivotal Week 4 game. Kickoff against the Colts is set for 1 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the team will aim to continue their strong start to the season despite the injury setbacks.
