Bruins fans are in for a treat, as the team has announced a significant boost to their roster ahead of the preseason. Head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed the addition of two experienced veteran players, providing a major uplift as Boston prepares for their upcoming matchup against the New York Rangers.
Boston revealed its roster for the preseason clash at TD Garden just hours before puck drop. Among the familiar faces returning in Black and Gold are Johnny Beecher, Patrick Brown, Mason Lohrei, Andrew Peeke, and Parker Wotherspoon—all of whom saw action with the Bruins last season.
In addition to the returning core, the Bruins have added two key veteran forwards acquired during the offseason: Mark Kastelic and Vinni Lettieri. Both players bring a wealth of experience and will be integral in bolstering the team’s depth as they head into the new season.
On the defensive side, the Bruins will feature the likes of Mason Lohrei and Andrew Peeke, while goaltenders Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro are set to split time between the pipes for the exhibition game.
