Duke Basketball is set to host one of their top backcourt prospects in the rising senior class, Acaden Lewis.
Four-star 2025 combo guard Acaden Lewis will visit Duke this week, a significant step in his swift recruitment process. Lewis has climbed the rankings rapidly following a stellar spring and summer on the amateur basketball circuit. The 6’2″, 170-pound guard has surged from 78th to 34th in the 2025 rankings and now stands at 31st due to his consistent performance.
At the Nike EYBL Peach Jam last month in Augusta, GA, Lewis spoke with TheDevilsDen.com’s Steve Clark about what makes Duke an appealing option for his college basketball career.
“You know, one of the things is out of our area, the DC/DMV area, like with Paul VI, they have kind of like a pipeline to Duke, and you can see they obviously believe in and have a pipeline to guys from the DMV. I’ve seen other guys from my area do well there at Duke, so I thought I could do the same. They are really recruiting me hard, I’ve spoken with Coach Scheyer and I’ve talked with everybody there,” Lewis said.
Lewis’s commitment represents another promising addition to Duke’s roster as they continue to build a formidable team for the future.
