Breaking News: Tennessee Volunteers Secure Top Five-Star Recruit for 2024 Season

Recruiting analysts often use the 247Sports Crystal Ball to predict where top high school talents might commit. Recently, a new prediction has emerged about an elite player possibly joining the Tennessee Volunteers.

In my latest forecast, I predict that Faizon Brandon, a five-star quarterback from Greensboro (NC) Grimsley, will ultimately commit to Tennessee.

Legends of Tennessee Event Unites Generations of Vols.

Current and former Tennessee Volunteers gathered to give back to the community at the third annual Legends of Tennessee event, held Saturday afternoon at The Island in Pigeon Forge.

Co-founded by Jabari Davis and Chris Treece, the Legends of Tennessee camp aims to teach kids football while imparting valuable life lessons. “Football is just our platform. Our mission is to motivate, impact, and inspire kids to be great in any aspect of life, whatever they want to pursue,” Davis said. “The principles and values you learn from sports are instrumental in the game of life.”

Since its inception in 2018, the Legends of Tennessee has hosted camps across the state, allowing fans to connect with the game of football and its players. Current and former Vols came together to support the community through this initiative.

Tennessee Offensive Lineman Dayne Davis highlighted the importance of these interactions: “Being able to give back to kids closer to Knoxville is a great opportunity for me, other former players, and current players too. Interacting with these kids during the summer and sharing our knowledge is rewarding because we know they will cheer us on during fall Saturdays.”

Following the camp, the Legends of Tennessee held a meet-and-greet session for fans, offering a chance to meet the athletes, get autographs, and chat with the players they admire.

Pigeon Forge Mayor David Wear expressed his appreciation for the event: “It’s really cool to get to know them on a personal level, hear their stories, and see how they’re passing their experiences on to our youth.”
