D-backs’ Stars Shine in Victory Over Padres!
Arizona Diamondbacks’ third baseman Eugenio Suarez and catcher Gabriel Moreno delivered back-to-back home runs, igniting the team’s offense in their game against the San Diego Padres on Thursday.

Shortly after, Moreno, also from Venezuela, smashed a 1-2 curveball at 106.8 mph off the bat to left field, marking his second home run of the season. Moreno has been on a hot streak, going 6-for-15 with three extra-base hits in June.
This was the fifth instance this season where the D-backs hit back-to-back home runs. The previous occurrence was by Joc Pederson and Christian Walker in the ninth inning against the New York Mets.
