Exciting News: Tennessee Titans Bolster Roster with Two Stellar Additions!
The Tennessee Titans wrapped up an impressive draft last week, securing a slew of talented players including offensive tackle JC Latham from Alabama and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat from Texas.
General Manager Ran Carthon and Head Coach Brian Callahan have been diligently strategizing throughout the offseason, evident in their excellent picks during the 2024 NFL Draft.
Their efforts didn’t halt with the draft’s conclusion. They ventured into signing undrafted free agents, a decision that proved fruitful as they acquired some homegrown talent straight out of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Among these signings are defensive back Gabe Jeudy-Lally and running back Jabari Small, both former Tennessee Volunteers players. Their impact during their tenure with the Vols is unquestionable among Tennessee football enthusiasts.
Jabari Small, despite his surname, is a dynamic power back known for his agility and ability to secure crucial yards for his team. Standing at 5’11 and weighing 214 pounds, Small is renowned for his tireless work ethic. During his time at Tennessee, he amassed an impressive 2,118 rushing yards, maintaining an average of five yards per carry and scoring 24 touchdowns without ever fumbling. Despite narrowly missing the top 30 in the draft rankings, Small has earned his shot with the Titans and is poised to contribute significantly to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
Gabe Jeudy-Lally, on the other hand, brings a formidable defensive prowess to the Titans’ roster. Having played previously for BYU and Vanderbilt before transferring to UT, Jeudy-Lally showcased his skills on the field, tallying 36 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, five pass deflections, and one forced fumble during his time with Tennessee. Eager to prove his mettle in the professional arena, Jeudy-Lally is determined to demonstrate why he deserves a spot in the NFL.
