The Bills have confirmed the signing of 31-year-old to a one-year deal…

The Buffalo Bills have inked a one-year contract with DeShawn Williams, a defensive tackle previously with the Carolina Panthers, as announced Thursday morning.

During the 2023 season, Williams showcased his skills with 33 tackles, seven hits on the quarterback, and one sack. Prior to his stint with the Panthers, the 31-year-old athlete spent three seasons with the Denver Broncos, achieving a career-best of 4.5 sacks in 2022 while playing as a defensive end.

Williams began his professional journey as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015, making appearances in four games during the 2016 season. Following this, he had stints with the practice squads of the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, and Indianapolis Colts before briefly joining the Canadian Football League, a venture interrupted by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

His collegiate career at Clemson showcased his talent, recording 79 tackles, four sacks, and a fumble recovery. Originally from Central, South Carolina, Williams brings his experience and prowess to the Buffalo Bills’ defensive lineup.
