Cincinnati emerged as the clear victor, contributing seven of the home runs, 23 hits, and 19 runs. Notably, strong performances came from various hitters throughout the Reds’ lineup.

Key moments included Christian Encarnacion-Strand’s fortunate single in the first inning, as well as a back-to-back home run display by Mike Ford and Tony Kemp in the second inning, setting the tone for Cincinnati’s dominance.
Despite early setbacks, such as a pickoff in the fourth inning, Cincinnati continued to assert their offensive prowess, with players like Luke Maile and Stuart Fairchild adding to the team’s home run count.
The Giants managed to score runs as well, but were ultimately unable to match Cincinnati’s relentless offensive output.

Although the Giants attempted a late comeback in the eighth inning, it was ultimately futile as Cincinnati’s pitching, led by Casey Legumina and Carson Rudd, closed out the game, securing the decisive win.
