In a tough blow to the Steelers faithful, ESPN is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Omar Khan has officially announced the departure of two of the team’s most experienced and respected veteran players. The news marks a significant shift in the franchise’s direction as it looks to reshape its roster heading into a new era.
According to Khan’s statement released earlier today, linebacker Elandon Roberts and cornerback Levi Wallace will not be returning to the team for the 2025 season. The announcement came as a surprise to many, considering both players were instrumental in anchoring the Steelers’ defense and brought valuable leadership to the locker room.
