The Chicago Blackhawks’ season continues its tumultuous trajectory, suffering a 3-2 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators on March 5, 2025. Tim Stutzle’s decisive goal, just 46 seconds into overtime, extended his personal point streak to 13 games and handed the Blackhawks their latest setback.
This defeat underscores a series of challenges plaguing the Blackhawks. The recent trade of veteran defenseman Seth Jones to the Florida Panthers has left a noticeable void in Chicago’s defensive lineup.
