In a recent development, New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza addressed the departure of veteran infielder José Iglesias, who signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres.
Iglesias, a fan favorite and key contributor during the Mets’ 2024 season, batted .337 and was lauded for his clubhouse presence.
