GOOD NEWS: Pittsburgh Steelers Officially Announce the Addition Of Another Speedy Wideout to the practice Squad…

The Pittsburgh Steelers have made another move to bolster their receiving corps, officially announcing the addition of a speedy wide receiver to the practice squad. This move aims to provide additional depth and flexibility as the team prepares for the final stretch of the season.

Wide receiver Scotty Miller, whose contract recently expired, is now a free agent and free to sign with any team. The Steelers initially released Miller late in the season but later re-signed him to the practice squad. Although he was elevated for the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, he did not see any action.

Miller originally signed with the Steelers in May and secured a spot on the 53-man roster. Throughout the year, he contributed whenever called upon, particularly in response to injuries. In 13 games, he recorded five receptions for 69 yards and also served as the backup punt returner behind Calvin Austin III.

While it appears unlikely that the Steelers will bring Miller back on a full-time basis, his familiarity with Arthur Smith’s offensive system played a key role in his ability to make the team after an impressive training camp. As the Steelers continue making roster adjustments, fans will be eager to see how the new addition to the practice squad factors into the team’s plans moving forward.
