The Los Angeles Rams have officially announced the signing of veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen, a two-time Pro Bowler and one of the most dependable pass-catchers in recent NFL history. In a surprising twist, Thielen reportedly turned down an offer from the Detroit Lions to join the Rams, signaling his desire to compete for a championship in Los Angeles.
Thielen, who spent the first decade of his career with the Minnesota Vikings before a stint with the Carolina Panthers, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Rams’ roster. Known for his precise route running and clutch performances, Thielen amassed 916 receiving yards and six touchdowns during the 2024 season, proving he still has plenty left in the tank.
