Sad News: Kansas Veteran Superstar Faces Worthless Moment at the Club Due to…

The New York Jets’ first game after parting ways with head coach Robert Saleh was far from remarkable. On Monday night, the Jets suffered a 23-20 home loss to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Despite staying competitive late into the fourth quarter, the Jets’ hopes of winning unraveled when wide receiver Mike Williams slipped while being targeted by Aaron Rodgers on a crucial third-and-16 play. This led to an interception by Bills cornerback Taron Johnson, with Williams left on the ground in apparent pain.

Zack Rosenblatt of *The Athletic* later reported that Williams was evaluated for a possible head injury, but many fans showed little sympathy for the receiver. “I get that he messed up the last play. But how is a $15M receiver not getting any targets for the entire game? THE JETS DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE TALENT,” one fan complained.

The 30-year-old Williams, who signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Jets last March, failed to catch any of the three passes thrown his way by Rodgers during the game. So far in the 2024 NFL season, Williams has only 145 receiving yards on 10 catches. It’s been a disappointing season for Williams, who had been expected to revitalize his career as a key weapon for Rodgers.
