BREAKING: Panthers Officially Confirm the Addition Steelers’ 23-year-old Well Experienced Superstar…

Amid a growing list of injuries, the Carolina Panthers have bolstered their linebacker corps with a key addition on Tuesday. The team officially signed outside linebacker from the Steelers’ practice squad.

He’s, a talented prospect from UNLV and Michigan State, went undrafted this year but has shown significant promise. In his 2022 season at Michigan State, Windmon led the FBS with six forced fumbles and recorded 10.5 tackles for loss along with 5.5 sacks, showcasing his ability to disrupt offenses and make impactful plays.

In order to make room for Windmon on the active 53-man roster, the Panthers waived outside linebacker Tarron Jackson.

Additionally, the Panthers made another move, signing veteran linebacker Shaq Quarterman to the practice squad. Quarterman, 26, was a fourth-round draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars and has spent four seasons in the NFL, playing in 66 career games. Earlier this year, he had brief stints with both the Eagles and Chargers, including time on the Chargers’ practice squad.

In a corresponding roster move, the team also announced the release of wide receiver Deon Cain from the practice squad.

These additions bring depth and experience to the Panthers’ defense as they look to navigate their current injury issues and stay competitive through the season.
