Vegas Golden Knights have officially cut ties with 24-year-old forward Grigori Denisenko after contract negotiations broke down. Denisenko, a talented player with significant potential, declined a contract extension, leaving fans and analysts questioning his next move.
This news comes as the Knights placed six players on waivers, including Denisenko, Mason Geertsen, Dysin Mayo, and Gage Quinney. Among them, Denisenko stands out due to his pedigree and NHL experience. A former first-round draft pick (15th overall) by the Florida Panthers in 2018, Denisenko has showcased flashes of brilliance, playing 32 NHL games and putting up 56 points in 65 AHL games last season.
