Jiles was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent earlier this year after an impressive college career at West Florida. In his lone season with West Florida, Jiles set a school record by amassing 1,255 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on 66 receptions. He also delivered a standout performance against North Greenville last September, where he posted 277 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
With this signing, the Patriots’ practice squad is back to its full 16-player capacity. As New England prepares for its upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers, Jiles’ addition provides the team with a much-needed option at wide receiver as they look to strengthen their offense and bounce back from their early season challenges.
