Mike Norvell and the Florida State football team have stumbled to an unexpected 0-2 start, a shocking development for a team that entered the season ranked No. 10 nationally. Norvell signed a massive contract extension in January after turning down an offer from Alabama, showing his commitment to FSU’s future. While frustration is understandable, especially after losses to teams like Georgia Tech and Boston College, it’s far too soon to lose faith in his leadership. Fans expected the program’s floor to be around 8-9 wins, so this early skid has been jarring.
After a tough loss to Boston College, there were doubts about whether FSU would even make a bowl game.
