Saturday, September 7, turned out to be a monumental day for the No. 3 Texas Longhorns. Not only did they dominate the defending national champions, the Michigan Wolverines, but they also secured a major recruiting win.
Four-star defensive lineman Myron Charles announced that he has flipped his commitment from Florida State to Texas.
Ranked as the No. 58 overall player and the No. 4 defensive lineman in the country by On3, Charles’ commitment gives a significant boost to the Longhorns’ recruiting class. With his addition, Texas now holds the No. 5 ranked recruiting class nationally and is expected to rise even higher as the recruiting cycle continues.
