Latest News: Broncos HC Shares Positive Fitness Updates following LT Garett Bolles’ injury Against Seahawks…

Just a day after left tackle Garett Bolles sustained an ankle injury during the Denver Broncos’ season opener against the Seattle Seahawks, Head Coach Sean Payton delivered encouraging news about Bolles’ condition.

“All the X-rays were negative — good news there,” Payton reported on Monday. “All the MRIs were negative as well. There’s a contusion, but that’s the extent of it, and that’s a positive.”

Bolles was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter and did not return, with Matt Peart stepping in for the team’s final two drives. Before his exit, Bolles played 54 offensive snaps, playing a key role in protecting quarterback Russell Wilson.

Payton’s update suggests Bolles avoided any serious long-term injury, which is crucial for the Broncos’ offensive line as they look to bounce back in the coming weeks. The team will monitor his recovery closely, but the news of no fractures or ligament damage brings a sense of relief to Broncos fans and coaches alike.
