Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz has announced the acquisition of forward Jordan Frasca from the Pittsburgh Penguins. In exchange, the Predators sent forward Cody Glass, along with a third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft (originally from Minnesota) and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, to Pittsburgh.

Frasca, 23, had a standout 2023-24 season with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers, where he set career highs across the board. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward played in 40 games, scoring 11 goals and adding 22 assists for a total of 33 points. His performance placed him seventh on the team in assists and ninth in goals, contributing significantly to the Nailers’ run to the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Frasca also saw action in three games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Pittsburgh’s AHL affiliate.

Although undrafted, Frasca began his professional career in 2022-23 after signing with the Penguins organization. He played 36 games for Wheeling and eight for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during his debut season. Before turning pro, the Brampton, Ontario native had an impressive junior career in the OHL, playing for both Windsor and Kingston between 2017 and 2022. In his final season with Kingston, where he served as an alternate captain, Frasca tallied 87 points (42 goals, 45 assists) in 2021-22, ranking third on the team in scoring. He finished his OHL career with 155 points (67 goals, 88 assists) in 190 games.
