Breaking: Just In Jim Harbaugh Face Major Setback as Chargers waived 2 Key Players Due to Contract Dispute…

The Los Angeles Chargers made significant roster moves on Monday morning, announcing the release of quarterback Casey Bauman and wide receiver Praise Olatoke due to ongoing contract disputes.

Bauman, who joined the Chargers as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft, played his college football at FCS Montana State before transferring to Division II Augustana. Despite being part of the Chargers’ preseason roster, Bauman did not see any playing time during the team’s 16-3 loss to the Seahawks on Saturday.

Praise Olatoke, a former Ohio State Track & Field athlete, also saw limited action. After joining the Chargers through a minicamp tryout, Olatoke played just two snaps in the same preseason game against the Seahawks, recording no stats.

In a corresponding move, the Chargers have signed former Southern Utah wide receiver Isaiah Wooden. Wooden, who started his college career at Kent State before transferring to Southern Utah, was a standout player during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Over that period, Wooden racked up 100 receptions for 1,726 yards and 20 touchdowns.

His 14 touchdowns in the 2023 season ranked second in the nation, and his performance earned him First-Team All-United Athletic Conference honors.

Wooden, a native of La Mesa, California, will wear No. 83 for the Chargers as he looks to make his mark in the NFL.
