‘Facinating’: Texans QB CJ Stroud Rookie Goes Viral After Over a Crucial Incident During the Rookie Card Sells…

In recent years, the sports card market has seen a significant surge in value, with the latest example being Houston Texans’ quarterback CJ Stroud. His rookie card recently sold for a remarkable $12,000 in an auction hosted by Goldin.

Stroud, selected as the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, has quickly established himself as a rising star in the league. During his rookie season, Stroud dazzled on the field with back-to-back 300-yard passing games and consecutive game-winning drives, capturing the attention of football fans and collectors alike.

The CJ Stroud Rookie Card Craze

Stroud’s impressive debut season has fueled a frenzy among collectors, who are eagerly snapping up his rookie cards on platforms like eBay. In just the first two months of his NFL career, over 16,000 of Stroud’s rookie cards were sold on eBay alone, generating more than $778,000 in sales.

Among the most valuable of Stroud’s cards are a Mosaic One of One Nebula rookie, which sold for $14,100 following his breakout game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and a Mosaic Gold card that fetched $2,650. Additionally, a One of One Image Variation autographed SuperFractor from the 2022 Bowman University Football set sold for $3,599.

Goldin Auction: Stroud’s Rookie Card Sells for Over $12,000

Recently, another one of Stroud’s rookie cards made waves when it was auctioned by Goldin. The card, a gem-mint slab graded GEM MT 10 by PSA, was a Panini Prizm Gold Sparkle Prizm collectible. According to Goldin’s listing, the card is one of only four examples at its tier in PSA’s census reporting.

Stroud, who was named the 2023 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, passed for 4,108 yards with 23 touchdowns and just five interceptions during his debut season. His stellar performance earned him a Pro Bowl selection and led the Texans to a playoff appearance after a disappointing 3-13-1 season the previous year.

The limited-edition card is serial-numbered “22/24,” making it highly sought after by collectors. The card’s pristine condition, with a gem-mint grade of 10 from PSA, further increased its value and desirability in the market.

The Future Looks Bright for CJ Stroud

There’s no doubt that Stroud’s value is skyrocketing both on the field and in the sports card market. As he heads into his sophomore season, expectations are high, and if he continues to perform at an elite level, the value of his rookie cards is likely to soar even higher. Texans fans and collectors alike are keeping a close eye on this young quarterback’s promising career trajectory.
