The Atlanta Hawks have announced the signing of forward Dominick Barlow to a two-way contract. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, in line with team policy.

During the 2023-24 season with the San Antonio Spurs, Barlow played in 33 games (starting one), averaging 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 12.7 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of .496 from the field, .333 from three-point range, and .690 from the free-throw line. His standout performance came on March 9 against the Golden State Warriors, where he scored a season-high 19 points on 7-10 shooting, alongside 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in 30 minutes of play.

Barlow also participated in six summer games with the Spurs, featuring in the California Classic and the NBA 2K25 Summer League. He averaged 15.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 blocks in 26.2 minutes per game, with a shooting percentage of .612.

Initially signed by the Spurs to a two-way contract after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, Barlow was re-signed to a second two-way contract for the 2023-24 season and converted to a standard NBA contract on March 2, 2024.

Over his two NBA seasons, Barlow has played in 61 games (one start), averaging 4.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 13.6 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of .513 from the field and .701 from the free-throw line.

In his rookie season, Barlow had a remarkable 21-point, 19-rebound double-double in a victory against the Dallas Mavericks on April 9, 2023. This performance made him only the fifth rookie in Spurs history to achieve at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in a single game.

Barlow has also made significant contributions in the NBA G League, appearing in 53 career games (43 starts) and averaging 16.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 29.1 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of .560 from the field and .726 from the free-throw line.

Before his NBA career, Barlow played for Team Overtime in the Overtime Elite League during the 2021-22 season, averaging 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 25.2 minutes per game. He made his NBA debut on November 2, 2022, against the Toronto Raptors, becoming the first player from Overtime Elite to participate in an NBA game.
