Tyler Williams, a standout wide receiver from the Sunshine State, is nearing a decision following an “amazing” visit to Georgia.
The Bulldogs hosted the highly sought-after Armwood (Fla.) receiver over the weekend, and they made a strong impression.
Georgia’s approach with Williams was direct and straightforward. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver had meetings with head coach Kirby Smart, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, and wide receivers coach James Coley. The message from the coaching staff was consistent: being a Georgia football player is tough.
Williams found this honesty refreshing and appreciated the candidness of the coaching staff.
“They all told me that it’s going to be really hard, but it’s an amazing process,” Williams shared with Dawgs247 after his visit.
