Done Deal: Juat In LSU Tigers Football Confirm Major Boost with the Signing of Another Experienced Four-Star Talent…

LSU Lands Commitment from Four-Star OT and Former Arkansas Pledge

Four-star offensive tackle Caruys Curne from Marion, Arkansas, had long been expected to stay in-state and play for the Razorbacks. At one point, he was even committed to Arkansas. However, a visit to Baton Rouge in March shifted his perspective. After decommitting from Arkansas, Curne decided to consider both Arkansas and LSU.

Curne made an official visit to Arkansas on June 7, followed by a visit to LSU on June 14. Now, he has committed to the Bayou Bengals, choosing LSU over Arkansas, with the Missouri Tigers also in the mix.

“NFL development, the resources for player and personal development, and the coaches are the biggest reasons I committed to LSU,” Curne told On3. “I love the history of the program. The more I learned during the recruiting process about each school, the more I knew I wanted to play somewhere with a track record of championships and developing top NFL talent. After visiting each school, I’m confident LSU has the best setup for me to succeed as a student-athlete.”

Curne’s commitment is a significant win for LSU. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, he is a formidable presence and a two-way star in high school. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is ranked as the No. 11 offensive tackle in the 2025 class and is considered the top recruit from Arkansas.
