BREAKING: PWHL Toronto defender Allie Munroe Goes Viral as She Reveals Key Reason for Contract Extension…

Allie Munroe might not be the most famous name on the PWHL Toronto roster, but she is the first player the team decided to re-sign.

Munroe’s Impact on the Team

Munroe, 27, stood out among the players on one-year deals with Toronto, primarily due to her consistent physical presence on the ice. She was paired most of the year with Kali Flanagan, forming Troy Ryan’s second defensive pairing behind the national team duo of Renata Fast and Jocelyne Larocque.

Munroe averaged just over 19 minutes per game and accumulated only 12 penalty minutes, despite being known for her physicality. Her 31 hits in 24 regular-season games ranked her sixth overall in the league. Teammates Renata Fast, Blayre Turnbull, and Emma Maltais were among the few who surpassed her in this statistic.
