Despite not being the highest-rated target on Georgia’s board, Garrett’s commitment is significant. He possesses solid footwork, good hip bend, and excellent field vision, allowing him to track the ball and make lateral plays. However, he will need to improve his hand placement and first step. Garrett’s versatility allows him to play every down inside or shift to a defensive end in run-heavy packages.
Current Recruiting Class and Outlook
Georgia now has 13 commitments for the 2025 class, though some recruits are still considering offers from other programs. The Bulldogs continue to pursue elite, uncommitted, or elsewhere-committed players, especially on the defensive line. The current class is ranked #8 nationally, but expectations are high for Kirby Smart to maintain his streak of top-three national recruiting classes.
