Sunday proved to be a significant day for NC State’s football program, as the team landed commitments from two standout prospects.
Key Commitments
Robert Jones III, a three-star cornerback from Vero Beach, Florida, committed to NC State after considering visits to Illinois and UCF, which he no longer plans to take. Other schools vying for Jones included Louisville, Miami, and Kentucky.
Jamar Browder, a three-star wide receiver also from Florida, brings impressive size at 6’4″ and 205 pounds. As a junior, he averaged over 20 yards per catch and scored 14 touchdowns from 39 receptions. Browder is ranked as the No. 105 player in Florida by 247Sports, while Jones holds the No. 140 spot.
Building the Future
With these additions, NC State now boasts six commitments for the 2025 class, with half of them hailing from Florida. As the recruiting season heats up, NC State’s efforts are paying off, positioning the team for a strong future.
