Vols Freshman Makes Waves with First Comment to Head Coach!

Four-Star RB Sees Bright Future with Tennessee

After receiving an offer from Tennessee last month, Carsyn Baker, a highly-rated Class of 2026 running back from Georgia, made another visit to Knoxville to attend the Vols’ camp.

Baker first visited Tennessee in early April to watch one of the Vols’ spring practices. Following his scholarship offer in May, he quickly returned to participate in the “Night at Neyland” camp. The four-star running back from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia, described working with first-year running backs coach De’Rail Sims and the rest of the Tennessee staff as “a great experience.”

Baker expressed optimism about his potential future with the Vols, saying, “Tennessee sits in a good spot for me” as he navigates the early stages of his recruitment.
