Patriots Sign WR David Wallis
The New England Patriots are bolstering their roster by signing wide receiver David Wallis, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN. Wallis, an undrafted player from Randolph-Macon College, participated in the Patriots’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
At the Division III level, Wallis caught 146 passes for 3,144 yards and 34 touchdowns across 42 collegiate games. In 2023, he recorded 53 receptions for 957 yards and 12 touchdowns. Wallis also contributed as a kick returner, averaging 20.2 yards per attempt.
Earlier on Monday, Reiss reported that the Patriots informed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber that he would be waived.
