Breaking: Ohio State Five-Star Sensational Talent as He Officially Commits To Top ACC Rivals…

Ohio State CB Commit Expected to Officially Visit Auburn This Weekend

Auburn’s recruitment efforts continue to gain momentum as they secure another significant commitment. This weekend, Auburn’s visitor list will be bolstered by a big addition: a five-star cornerback previously committed to Ohio State is expected to make an official visit to the campus.

Adding to the excitement, Georgia Tech transfer Miles Kelly has decided to join the Auburn Tigers after removing his name from the NBA draft process by Wednesday’s league deadline. Kelly, a 6-foot-6 guard who led Georgia Tech in scoring for the past two seasons, committed to Auburn on Sunday and is expected to sign soon.

Kelly is set to join other newcomers such as SMU transfer forward Ja’Heim Hudson, Furman point guard transfer JP Pegues, and freshman wing Jahki Howard, all of whom have already reported to summer workouts at Neville Arena. Kelly, along with five-star freshman point guard Tahaad Pettiford, is anticipated to arrive shortly.

Kelly, who has one season of eligibility left, initially entered the NBA draft process last month before placing his name in the transfer portal a couple of weeks later. He even conducted a draft workout with the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday before deciding to withdraw from the draft that night.

Viewed as a potential second-round draft pick, Kelly averaged 13.9 points per game on 37 percent shooting from the floor and 32 percent from beyond the arc in the 2023-24 season. He scored 20 or more points on eight occasions, showcasing his scoring prowess.

Auburn’s head coach Bruce Pearl had one remaining roster spot and was looking for another guard to complete his backcourt. With Pettiford’s flexibility to play both the 1 and 2 positions, Kelly fits perfectly in the 2 and 3 spots, alongside returning starters Denver Jones and Chad Baker-Mazara.

As the Auburn Tigers continue to strengthen their roster, the addition of these talented players marks a significant step towards a promising season.
