Breaking: LSU’s Standout Malik Nabers Goes Viral After a Crucial Incident During…

Could the Giants make a trade to add even more talent to their receiving corps?

The New York Giants made a significant upgrade to their wide receiver position in this year’s draft by selecting LSU standout Malik Nabers with the sixth overall pick. Despite securing arguably the top receiver in the class, the Giants’ wide receiver corps still lacks overall playmaking ability.

Giants Land Tennessee Titans’ Former First-Round Wide Receiver in Mock Trade

To bolster their receiving department and provide quarterback Daniel Jones with additional strong targets, the team may consider further additions. Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine suggested that Tennessee Titans receiver and former first-round draft pick Treylon Burks could be a cost-effective option to enhance the Giants’ offense next season.

“There are many young options the Giants hope will hit big this season. Adding Burks would give them another body type with potential in the room. At 6’2”, 225 pounds, the former Razorback is much bigger than the likes of Wan’Dale Robinson (5’8”, 185) and Jalin Hyatt (6’0”, 185),” Ballentine wrote.

Ballentine’s Trade Proposal

Ballentine proposed that the Giants trade a 2025 sixth-round pick in exchange for Burks—a relatively modest and reasonable deal for a player projected to be the No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in New York.

What Could Treylon Burks Bring to Big Blue?

Burks has struggled to make a significant impact on a Titans roster that has underperformed during his first two years. With only one career touchdown and just 16 receptions on 30 targets in 2023, his performance has been underwhelming. While he could find a more defined role with a new coach and a young QB in Tennessee, the Giants could offer him more opportunities for consistent usage.

Adding Burks could provide the Giants with a more reliable third option in the offense, especially after the signing of Parris Campbell last summer didn’t yield the expected results and the team’s overall offensive performance remained lackluster for most of the season.

Although there have been no market indicators suggesting the Titans are looking to trade Burks, with training camp less than two months away, keep an eye out for the Giants to potentially make moves to strengthen their wide receiver room.
