BREAKING: Miami Hurricanes’ Freshman Goes Viral Over His Comment To Head Coach Mario Cristobal On His Arrivial…

In a surprising turn of events, Jeremy Wahman of the Cardinal Sports Zone revealed during his appearance on the College Football Addiction podcast that Miami football transfer Tyler Baron was dismissed from the Louisville football team.

Wahman disclosed that Tyler Baron, who transferred to Miami, was kicked off the Louisville team after boasting about his NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals. Despite the significant buzz, Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm has not publicly addressed Baron’s departure or any other transfer exits this spring. Baron initially transferred to Louisville after playing at Tennessee and committed to Mississippi earlier in the 2024 transfer portal cycle.

The exodus of players from Louisville included cornerback Wesley Walker, Baron’s step-brother, who transferred to Michigan, and running back Peny Boone, who moved to Central Florida following the spring portal cycle. Wahman discussed these departures, highlighting the impact of NIL deals on the team dynamics.

Wahman explained, “Coach (Jeff) Brohm kicked them all (Baron and others) off the team because they were causing trouble in the locker room, telling everybody ‘oh I’m making this much, you should tell your guys to get you this much’. So it was a situation where you had some troublemakers in the locker room. Coach Brohm found out about it [and] he gave them the boot.”

There were also various rumors online regarding the departures of Baron, Boone, and Walker from Louisville. Boone had stints at Maryland and Kent State before transferring to Louisville, while Walker played for Georgia Tech and Tennessee prior to his brief tenure at Louisville.

Wahman also refuted claims that Louisville’s NIL checks bounced. Baron, Boone, and Walker have all shown considerable performance in their college careers. At Tennessee, Baron accumulated 101 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, four passes defended, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup over four seasons.

While Baron’s NIL deal with Miami has not been disclosed, On3 ranks him 144th in college football in terms of NIL valuation. Miami is reputed for offering some of the best NIL payouts nationally. Canes Warning’s Louisville partner site, Big Red Louie, confirmed through local media in Louisville that “Brohm essentially packed their bags.”
