Breaking News: Just In Wolverines Confirmed In Talk To Sign 2026 four-star…

Michigan Extends Offer to TJ Crumble, Who Plans Visit!

With the AAU season in full swing, Dusty May and his staff at Michigan have been busy extending offers to recruits in the 2025 and 2026 classes. Among these offers is one to 2026 four-star recruit TJ Crumble, who previously received an offer from former coach Juwan Howard. Coach May has reaffirmed this offer, signaling Michigan’s continued interest.

Crumble, a 6-foot-7 forward from Richmond Heights in Cleveland, Ohio, is a standout player and a teammate of another Michigan target, 2025 four-star Dorian Jones. Michigan’s focus on recruiting in the Midwest, particularly Ohio, is evident.

In an interview with The Michigan Insider, Crumble discussed his recent offer and overall recruitment.

“I’ll definitely be visiting Michigan in the near future,” Crumble said. “Most likely after the college dead period, I’ll be coming up.”

Crumble’s recruitment is a collaborative effort. He mentioned having relationships with Coach May, Kyle Church, and Akeem Miskdeen.

“I’ve had most of my conversations with the staff with Coach Church and Coach (Akeem),” Crumble said. “Coach Keem was at a lot of my games last weekend in Indiana for Session 3 of EYBL.”

The Michigan coaching staff envisions Crumble playing as a wing/forward, similar to former UM player Isaiah Livers.

Multiple Schools Pursue Crumble

Michigan is one of many schools vying for Crumble’s commitment. He has over 15 offers and expects to receive more in the coming weeks and months. However, Crumble highlighted five schools that stand out to him currently: Ohio State, Michigan, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin.

A True Student-Athlete

Crumble excels both on and off the court. He is a top forty recruit nationally and maintains a 4.4 GPA.

“In order to be a complete athlete, you also have to have the grades. So I do my best to exceed expectations on and off the court,” Crumble said. “My parents have stressed academics to me since I was a little kid. Also, you always have to think long term. You can’t play basketball forever, so after the ball stops dribbling, what’s your plan after that? So that’s what makes me continue to strive in the classroom as well as on the court.”
