Mario Cristobal’s Latest Transfer Addition Sparks Social Media Reaction
Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal made headlines on Tuesday with a significant addition from the transfer portal. Former Tennessee EDGE Tyler Baron announced his commitment to the Hurricanes, drawing national attention.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound edge rusher will have one season of eligibility remaining. Baron played for Tennessee until the 2023 season before briefly transferring to Ole Miss in December and then to Louisville in January.
During his time with the Volunteers from 2020-2023, Baron accumulated 101 total tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and 13.5 sacks.
