LSU Football Recruiting: Why Investing in the Tigers’ 2025 Class is a Smart Move!
Under the leadership of Brian Kelly, LSU football recruiting has flourished, showcasing impressive results in the first two years. With two consecutive top-seven classes under his belt, Kelly has laid a strong foundation for the Tigers. The 2025 class is shaping up to be particularly promising, potentially standing as Kelly’s most remarkable achievement yet. Currently ranked third nationally as of early May, this class boasts some exceptional talent, spearheaded by quarterback Bryce Underwood, the top-ranked prospect overall. Joining Underwood are standout wide receiver Dakorien Moore, another five-star recruit, and Harlem Berry, a top-50 running back.
These stellar offensive players lead the charge among the 12 commits already secured by LSU for the 2025 cycle. Notably, the majority of these commitments are blue-chip prospects, with all but three earning four- or five-star ratings. With such a strong start and a solid core of recruits, LSU’s class emerges as a formidable challenger to Georgia’s dominance in the recruiting landscape.
Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins expressed confidence in LSU’s recruiting prowess on the 247Sports Football Recruiting Podcast, stating, “I know LSU’s class is ranked third as it stands on April 30th, but I think if you did a straw poll of all of us at 247Sports and we had to choose a recruiting class we’re buying stock in right now, it would be LSU.” He highlighted the impressive offensive trio as a significant factor driving this sentiment.
