The agreement entails a one-year contract with a potential maximum value of $6 million. Details shared by NFL veteran reporter Albert Breer outline a $1.5 million signing bonus, with a base salary of $2.75 million supplemented by $500,000 per-game bonuses.

Selected third overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, Okudah’s initial three years were spent with the Detroit Lions, albeit marred by injury setbacks. Despite challenges, Okudah showcased promise, particularly in his debut season, where he contributed 47 total tackles, four tackles for loss, two passes defended, and one interception, amidst a COVID-19 impacted environment.
