Hull City’s Rosenior Remains Optimistic Amid Playoff Push
Following an impressive 3-0 victory over QPR, Hull City’s head coach, Liam Rosenior, maintains a determined belief in his team’s ability to secure a playoff spot as the Championship season nears its climax.
The Tigers showcased their strength by climbing back to 7th place in the league table with a dominant performance against QPR at the MKM Stadium.
Rosenior expressed his confidence after Hull City secured their second win in three games, crediting goals from Ozan Tufan, Fabio Carvalho, and Jaden Philogene for their 18th win of the season.
Despite coming agonizingly close to narrowing the gap on sixth-placed Norwich City to just four points with a game in hand, a late winner by Gabriel Sara for Norwich against Preston maintained their six-point lead. However, Rosenior and his team are undeterred, focusing on their upcoming fixtures against Watford, Coventry, Ipswich, and Plymouth.
“We’ve got to win the next game, that’s it,” Rosenior emphasized. “That’s all we have to do. That’s all we’ve spoken about.” Reflecting on their recent form, Rosenior highlighted their seven points from the last three games and their impressive goal-scoring record.
Despite the challenges, Rosenior remains optimistic, praising the journey of Hull City from the ownership change to their current standing. He reiterated their determination to finish the season strongly and affirmed their belief in clinching a top-six finish.
“We still believe we can make that top six,” Rosenior affirmed. “And if we keep performing like that, there’s no reason why not.”
