West Ham set to lose striker to Premier League club…

West Ham’s Rising Star Divin Mubama Linked with Sheffield United Move

The transfer rumor mill is abuzz with speculation linking promising 19-year-old West Ham forward, Divin Mubama, to a move to fellow Premier League side Sheffield United this summer.

According to a report from The Sun’s journalist Alan Nixon on his official Patreon account, West Ham is contemplating the possibility of loaning out the talented teenager next season, following the signing of a new contract at the London Stadium.

Despite high expectations, Mubama has struggled to make a breakthrough this season for the Hammers. However, a potential season-long loan to Sheffield United in the Championship could provide the platform he needs to kickstart his early career.

Since August 2022, Mubama has featured sparingly, making just 18 appearances for West Ham and failing to secure a starting spot in any Premier League match this season, with most of his involvement coming off the bench.

His last start dates back to an FA Cup clash against Bristol City in January, where he was called upon early in the game to replace an injured Lucas Paqueta. However, Mubama’s playing time has been limited since then, totaling only 10 minutes on the pitch.

The recent addition of Jamie Hoyland to Sheffield United’s recruitment team, who previously worked with West Ham, adds further weight to the speculation surrounding Mubama’s potential move to the Blades this summer.

Joining a strong Championship contender like Sheffield United could offer Mubama the ideal environment to showcase his talent, especially as the Blades will likely be aiming for automatic promotion next season.
